Mutant Marathons and Alien Invasions Take Over Space this October!

  • Spend an x-treme Thanksgiving with the XCITING THANKSGIVING MARATHON kicking off Sunday, Oct. 13 with the premiere of X-MEN: FIRST CLASS at 8:30 p.m. ET. The action continues on Monday, Oct. 14 with X-MEN at 6 a.m. ET, followed by X2: X-MEN UNITED at 8:05 a.m. ET.
  • Space unearths the hottest new fantasy drama with the premiere of ATLANTISSaturday, Oct. 12 at 8 p.m. ET.
  • The “alienation” begins Monday, Oct. 14 with the Season 2 premiere of FALLING SKIESMonday, Oct. 14 at 9 p.m. ET, followed by ALIEN MYSTERIES at 10 p.m. ET.
  • Friday night bites with the movie premiere of SHARK NIGHT 3DFriday, Oct. 25 at 9 p.m. ET.

Sunday, Oct. 6

10 a.m. – THE COMPLETE DOCTOR WHO SUNDAYS

Catch the final episode of Season 3 before getting in the holiday spirit with the 2007 Christmas special, THE VOYAGE OF THE DAMNED. Then, Season 4 kicks off with Episodes 1 to 7 as Donna Noble (Catherine Tate, THE CATHERINE TATE SHOW) returns to the TARDIS.

Saturday, Oct. 12

8 p.m. – ATLANTIS *Series Premiere*

Far from home and desperate for answers, Jason (Jack Donnelly, DANCING ON THE EDGE) washes up on the shores of an ancient land — the lost city of Atlantis. Aided by his two new friends, Pythagoras (Robert Emms, War Horse) and Hercules (Mark Addy, GAME OF THRONES), Jason embarks on a voyage of discovery, and salvation, as he brushes shoulders with Medusa (Jemima Rooper, HEX), comes face to face with a Minotaur, and battles with the dead.

Sunday, Oct. 13

10 a.m. – THE COMPLETE DOCTOR WHO SUNDAYS

Wrap up season 4 of DOCTOR WHO with Episodes 8 to 13. Then tune in for the 2008 Christmas special, THE NEXT DOCTOR, and the specials PLANET OF THE DEAD and THE WATERS OF MARS.

XCITING THANKSGIVING MARATHON

8:30 p.m. – X-MEN: FIRST CLASS (2011) *Movie Premiere*

Before Charles Xavier (James McAvoy, Wanted) and Erik Lehnsherr (Michael Fassbender, Prometheus) took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. For years they worked together with other mutants until a rift between them opened, sparking an eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-MEN.

11:10 p.m. – THE PUNISHER (2004)

Special agent Frank Castle (Thomas Jane, Deep Blue Sea) had it all: A loving family, a great life, and an adventurous job. But when his life is taken away from him by a ruthless criminal and his associates, Frank is reborn as The Punisher. Now serving as judge, jury, and executioner, he’s a new kind of vigilante out to wage a one man war against those who have done him wrong.

1:40 a.m. – KICK-ASS (2010)

Dave Lizewski (Aaron Taylor-Johnson, NEARLY FAMOUS) is an unnoticed high school student and comic book fan who one day decides to become a super-hero, though he has no powers, training or meaningful reason to do so. KICK-ASS also stars Christopher Mintz-Plasse (Superbad) and Nicolas Cage (GHOST RIDER).

4:05 a.m. – FANBOYS (2008)

Star Wars fans travel to Skywalker Ranch to steal an early copy of Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. FANBOYS stars Sam Huntington (BEING HUMAN), Jay Baruchel (This Is The End), and Kristen Bell (VERONICA MARS).

Monday, Oct. 14

XCITING THANKSGIVING MARATHON

6 a.m. – X-MEN (2000)

Professor Xavier (Patrick Stewart, STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION) and Magneto (Ian McKellen, The Lord of the Rings trilogy) lead two groups of Mutants in very different directions against human leaders who want all Mutants eliminated. X-MEN also stars Anna Paquin (TRUE BLOOD), Hugh Jackman (Les Misérables), and Halle Berry (Cloud Atlas).

8:05 a.m. – X2: X-MEN UNITED (2003)

The X-Men band together to find a mutant assassin who has made an attempt on the President’s life, while the Mutant Academy is attacked by military forces. X2: X-MEN UNITED stars Patrick Stewart (STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION), Hugh Jackman (Les Misérables), Ian Mckellen (The Lord of the Rings trilogy) and Halle Berry (Cloud Atlas).

9 p.m. – FALLING SKIES *Season 2 Premiere*

Season 2 opens with Pope (Colin Cunningham, STARGATE SG-1) seizing command of a renegade contingent within the 2nd Mass unit. Meanwhile, Tom (Noah Wyle, ER) suddenly returns to the group but his loyalty comes into question; Hal (Drew Roy,Secretariat) and Ben (Connor Jessup, Blackbird) drift apart.

10 p.m. – ALIEN MYSTERIES *Series Premiere*

This imaginative Canadian series candidly chronicles first-person accounts of UFO sightings, alien encounters, and abductions. In each episode, dramatic re-enactments recount stunning real-life, unexplained alien experiences, taking viewers on a thrilling and sometimes terrifying journey. Their bizarre, life-altering encounters are vividly depicted using new, state-of-the-art CGI and green screen technique created by Toronto-based Acme Digital Pictures. Each story also features scientists and researchers who probe the question: How is this possible?

3:30 a.m. – SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD (2010)

Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera, Superbad) must defeat his new girlfriend’s (Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Final Destination 3) seven evil exes in order to win her heart. Also stars Jason Schwartzman (BORED TO DEATH) and Kieran Culkin (Igby Goes Down).

Sunday, Oct. 20

10 a.m. – THE COMPLETE DOCTOR WHO SUNDAYS

Viewers can say goodbye to The Tenth Doctor again (David Tennant, BROADCHURCH) with the final, two-part special THE END OF TIME right before Season 5 kicks off with the first six episodes.

Friday, Oct. 25

9 p.m. – SHARK NIGHT 3D (2011) *Movie Premiere*

A weekend at a lake house in the Louisiana Gulf turns into a nightmare for seven vacationers as they are subjected to shark attacks. SHARK NIGHT 3D stars Sara Paxton (The Last House on the Left) and Dustin Milligan (90210).

Sunday, Oct. 27

10 a.m. – THE COMPLETE DOCTOR WHO SUNDAYS

Finish up Season 5 of DOCTOR WHO with Episodes 7 to 13, before the 2010 Christmas special, A CHRISTMAS CAROL.

10 p.m. – FANGASM *Season 1 Finale*

Living together in an L.A. apartment complex, a tight-knit group of pop culture-obsessed fans continue to find their place in the world and flourish, thanks to their passions and personalities.

Thursday, Oct. 31

HALLOWEEN NIGHT ZOMBIE-A-THON

6 p.m. – ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE

Months after a zombie plague has wiped out 90 percent of the American population, a small group of survivors fight their way cross-country to a rumoured refuge on the island of Catalina. Stars Ving Rhames (Piranha), Lesley-Ann Brandt (SPARTACUS: GODS OF THE ARENA), Taryn Manning (ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK), and Eddie Steeples (MY NAME IS EARL).

8 p.m. – RISE OF THE ZOMBIES

Survivors of a zombie plague escape their island refuge (Alcatraz) when it’s overrun, and risk the outside world to find a scientist who is rumoured to have found a cure for the disease. Stars Mariel Hemingway (Manhattan), LeVar Burton (PERCEPTION), Danny Trejo (Machete), and French Stewart (3RD ROCK FROM THE SUN).

10 p.m. – ZOMBIE NIGHT (2013) *Movie Premiere*

Two families in a small American town face off against zombies in a long night of horror, torn between helping each other and saving themselves. ZOMBIE NIGHT stars Darryl Hannah (Kill Bill), Anthony Michael Hall (The Breakfast Club), and Shirley Jones (THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY).
