Welcome!
I am a writer. I write books (well…I *am* writing books), articles, blog posts, branded narratives, sponsored content, social media rants, and sometimes some excellent copy. Like all writers, it’s really hard to call myself one–well hello there, imposter syndrome.
I have always loved words, and languages as a whole have inspired me for as long as I can remember, and #TBT to that one time I tried to learn German (you guys, this is ONE WORD: rindfleischetikettierungsueberwachungsaufgabenuebertragungsgesetz. I gave up shortly after that).
I also happen to love history, which ties directly to my burning desire to follow languages to their original etymology and visit their birthplaces. I have a day job, so….retirement plan??
Connecting people is a passion, and I have an uncanny memory for details about people that abets my desire to throw them together where their needs/wants cross paths, so watch out: if you happen to mention a broken dishwasher, the chances of me throwing a repairman at you are quite high.
I live in the suburbs of Toronto, with my partner and our four-year old daughter, and a cat who frequently treats us like staff. We like vodka and club soda, long walks on the beach, and quiet nights in the hot tub, where my partner spends at least an hour worrying that I am going to drop the tablet in the water and we will miss the baseball game.
