Hello, Karma my old friend.

Dear Momwhotravelsallovertheplacewithlittlekids,

I am sorry for all of the times, pre-motherhood, that I rolled my eyes at you and your screaming kid at the airport. I am wise now to the fact that no, actually, you can’t just make them shut up.

It’s ok, though. You know that karma thing everyone talks about? Mine is coming today. I can feel it. We’re on a 3-hour flight later, and my 20-month old daughter woke up this morning at 4:30, 5:10, & 7:24 – crying. Brought her down and fed her during Meltdown Intermission, and somehow the universe smiled on me and she went for a nap at 9:30 (but not after screaming for a half hour).

So if you can hear me, Heromomwhotakesbabiesonflights, I love you. With my heart and soul I love you, and I am sorry.

Love,
The Rookie

P.S. If you do happen to see Karma today, could you let her know I said sorry?? Thanks. XO.
